Use of the MOODLE platform and its impact on the development of intellectual skills

Abstract

The article deals with Moodle, a learning platform designed to provide educators, administrators and students with a unique, robust and secure integrated system to create personalized learning environments. It is an application that belongs to the group of educational content managers. Asynchronous communication (Moodle) Moodle, like all EVA (Virtual Learning Environment), needs to use different types of tools that allow it to establish a social network among all the participants in the training process. The technological advances and multiculturalism present in the world and specifically in our country, promote dissimilar changes for the knowledge society, which is in constant need of innovation and transformation. Higher education institutions must integrate technological resources to generate new spaces, resources and means that respond to educational demands. Among the main demands, we can mention the revision of the curriculum, the modification and creation of educational spaces and the rethinking of the teacher's role, in which tutoring, guidance, motivation and evaluation represent transcendental universes of knowledge.
