Abstract

In Ecuador, graphic design has not been estimated in its fair dimension. The authors of this article justify it given its significant conceptual, spiritual and morphological essence, understood from the ancestral creations, primarily by the irresponsible historical-social attitude with what we have inherited, in cultural groups that marginalize our indigenous knowledge. The architecture and what we can consider today as graphic design, was also a contribution of the ancestral erudition, with it a stamp of autochthony was contributed that denotes our singularity. The development of strategic elements in the new pedagogy of Graphic Designers, which takes advantage of the historical resources that characterize us in a post-modern era, is the proposal that makes this academic research approach.
