Considerations on value formation in Higher Education

Abstract

The formation of values in higher education is a subject of great importance and validity; however, the necessary levels of systematization in the work with this content of the general and professional culture, which guarantees in the future specialists high levels of commitment, expressed in their way of thinking, feeling and acting, are not yet reached. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to offer a characterization of the process of formation of values in higher education. The application of methods such as observation, interview and survey reveals the need for teachers to study this training process in depth, as well as its integration into the classroom.
