Abstract

The article describes a methodological proposal for low cost prefabricated panels, with the objective of taking advantage of the rubble of the structural elements of concrete, masonry elements such as bricks and blocks, to combine them with expanded polystyrene and produce lighter and more economical prefabricated elements, with better thermoacoustic and ecological properties, which can be used, especially in the residential sector. This has great economic and environmental benefits. The dosage of the mixtures to elaborate the prefabricated panel that is proposed in the article, was subjected to laboratory tests.
