Oratory and oral expression in the initial training of Spanish-Literature teachers

Abstract

It corresponds to the new University to undertake a sustained work in relation to the dynamics of socializing the teaching of oratory and, with it, to achieve better oral expression. There are several investigations that address the issue of irregularities in the oral expression of university students, in which related strategies and activities are projected. This article reflects on the role of oratory and oral expression in the communication of university students, since both promote reflective and developmental thinking in teachers and students. Therefore, it is necessary for teachers to search for their own vocabulary and style to speak clearly, and for students, it leads to the constant management of knowledge as an alternative for a greater multiplication of oral expression. The methods of theoretical and empirical level used in the research and execution allowed knowing the theoretical and methodological foundations of the problem. The practice of public speaking as "art of the word" and oral expression contribute in the formation of Spanish-Literature students in the achievement of an efficient communication to be used in different contexts of their professional life.
