Abstract

One of the main objectives of education in Cuban society is the scientific-technical-politechnical and labor training of students, under the guiding principle of the unity of study with work, which is aimed at ensuring the achievement of the labor purpose of the educational process, in addition to demonstrating mastery and understanding of the meaning of a labor, economic and technological culture to undertake the solution of problems as part of their preparation for life. In the "Instituto Preuniversitario Vocacional de Ciencias Exactas" (IPVCE) Antonio Maceo Grajales, the existing strategy to comply with the above, presents weaknesses associated with the need to reveal a system of relationships as a result of a theoretical-methodological elaboration, which allows observing labor training as an integral formative process of the personality in which the school, the family and the community interact. Hence, the objective of this article is to present a socio-productive and cultural methodological project aimed at strengthening the labor training of students through the creation of socially useful articles, adapted to the transformations occurring in the educational system that responds to the specific socio-historical demands of our country. Theoretical, empirical and mathematical statistical methods were used for its elaboration.
