Multimedia to enhance baseball knowledge in elementary school children in Baracoa.

Abstract

The practice of baseball is a controversial issue in a large part of the Cuban population, because it is passion, tradition, pastime and national culture. This article addresses the elements of an informative material on how to use a multimedia in the initial preparation of children in primary education, with the aim of enhancing the knowledge of the national sport to incorporate a greater enrollment to the practice of this sport specialty, through the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs). It was elaborated based on the experience of baseball specialists and the work of the authors in the field of physical culture, with the use of research methods, such as: interview, survey and observation.
