Abstract

This research shows the need to contribute to the formulation of life projects that enhance professional, personal and social development, based on the essential link between gender and education. The authors carry out a systematization of the main theoretical and conceptual elements that require special attention for the development of an educational, creative and differentiated work that contributes to the formation of life projects in university students, which enhances the motivation towards the profession, the way of professional performance, as well as their social commitment in the different contexts of performance. Different scientific research methods were used, among which the historical-logical and documentary analysis stand out. As main results, inadequacies in the pedagogical professional training process are pointed out, which limit the configuration and development of the life project as an alternative to face gender stereotypes. Likewise, it is recognized that gender stereotypes qualify and predispose the conceptions and ideas of intergender relations of university students. In summary, it is presumed that the configuration and development of the life project category favors the formative process of university students and contributes as a major result, a human being more enriched and committed to the social project that is defended.
