Procedure for the evaluation of postgraduate quality at the Jobabo Municipal University Center

Abstract

Postgraduate studies constitute one of the most important university processes for the training of competent professionals in order to achieve a more prosperous and sustainable society, due to its impact on the updating of knowledge and the development of skills in priority issues of local development, in order to gain in productivity and quality in a systematic and timely manner. The objective of this article is to design a procedure to evaluate the quality of postgraduate studies at the Jobabo Municipal University Center (CUM Jobabo) in the Province of Las Tunas. As a result of the application of scientific methods and techniques, theoretical references and valuable methodological tools were systematized for the design of the procedure, which constitutes a methodological contribution for the evaluation of postgraduate quality and favors the quality management of this process in the referred institution. As a result of the evaluation of the relevance of the procedure, a very favorable opinion was obtained from the specialists in the subject, and its total generalization in CUM Jobabo is proposed. The tool designed constitutes an important reference for research in the object and field investigated.
