Abstract

The Bachelor's Degree in Biology Education of the Universidad de Oriente has implicit in the Study Plan E, the improvement of didactic management in the treatment of interdisciplinarity. The objective of this article is to propose methodological ways such as: integrating seminar, problémica teaching methods and didactic means, directed to the interdisciplinary understanding of the molecular and cellular processes that occur in plants to explain their biotic integrity, from cognitive links shared by the disciplines Botany, Microbiology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Physics and Chemistry courses for the Biology teacher.A qualitative research was conducted through a case study in the course 2019-2020.It is concluded that the proposal of the methodological ways described above was achieved, which allowed raising the quality of the results when evaluating the biotic integrity in plants, studied by the discipline Botany, by obtaining a 25% increase of approved students and a 31.2% increase in the quality of the answers with grades between 4 and 5 points.
