Proposal of equipment for the sustainable mechanization of sugarcane cultivation under agroecological principles

Abstract

This work presents a system of equipment for the mechanization of sugarcane cultivation with an agroecological approach with the objective of preserving and improving soils from the negative effects produced by the use of machinery, such as compaction, erosion, salinization and conservation of moisture and soil microflora. The use of machines and implements proposed for the mechanization of the main technological processes included in the crop, as well as agrotechnical and technological aspects that must be complied with to minimize or prevent soil and crop damage and achieve maximum economic and energy efficiency of the mechanized process.
