Abstract

The administrative political corruption of the island of Cuba during the administrations that took place from January 1901 to 1958, marked a twisted character of a republic that, although thought by the ideologist of the Necessary War José Martí would be, with all and for the good of all, became a model sketched in the North American style of a republic of few and for the good of those who remarked the imperialist ideas. This work is presented with the firm purpose of showing, without detracting from the abundant history, a brief overview of a Havana turned into the Antillean empire of the North American mafia, with the consent of the most select officials of the governments of the period. For this purpose, methods such as document review, analysis-synthesis and historical-logical analysis were used. These allowed us to enter a stage that, perhaps, would be one in which the continuous episodes of administrative political corruption became more acute, as an evil inherited from previous administrations, and in the face of this situation the projection of progressive voices with transforming nuances in defense of a revolutionary legacy.
