Spanish teaching methodology for Chinese university students

Abstract

Spanish has become the second language in the world by the number of people who have it as their mother tongue, after Mandarin Chinese. It is the third most used language for the production of information in the media; besides being one of the six official languages ​​of the UN. With the growing globalization of the Chinese economy, many national companies maintain close relations with the Latin American market, which is why Spanish has become one of the foreign languages ​​most chosen by Chinese students. For this reason, a large number of universities have opened a new specialty in this language, with special attention to learning its vocabulary. The purpose of this work is to analyze the methodologies of teaching the Spanish language in Chinese universities, supported by the use of communicative methods, the use of lexical blocks and the one based on tasks for its teaching.
