Educational experience from Pedagogy in the Physical Culture career

Abstract

An experience of the university educational work carried out by teachers in the Bachelor's Degree in Physical Culture is presented, based on the contents of the subject Pedagogy, from the design of educational activities and for the search of greater motivation of students for the career. For this purpose, their learning needs and the interrelation with other subjects that contribute to the integral formation of the professional are taken into account. The study uses a pre-experimental design, with pre-test and post-test, where theoretical and empirical methods are applied, such as: structured group interview, structured, systematic, participant and field observation. For the processing of the data collected, descriptive statistics, pie charts and bar charts are used, and inferential statistics, non-parametric hypothesis tests, particularly with Wilcoxon ranges. The experience shows that the proposal of educational activities designed allowed to increase the students' motivation towards their career, as well as a better knowledge of their future work with different population sectors. The role of pedagogy in physical culture is enhanced, by optimizing the educational work through the integration between the conceptual and the practical.
