Implementation of a pedagogical model of community education through the linkage with society

Abstract

In the university, the formative process should imply that the learning subjects are the protagonists of their learning and personality development. In this sense, the relationships between the academic, practical and research components are meant, in such a way that from the curriculum itself the link with society is made as an expression of theorizing practice and experimenting theory itself. From this prism, the meaning of the instrumentation of the pedagogical model of community education is exposed, as well as the necessary moments to move from a community social diversity to a community integration with expression in a process of community socialization. Teachers and students of the Educational Psychology and Guidance career, together with social actors of the El Prado community in the city of Loja in the Republic of Ecuador, lead an educational praxis that allows the construction and reconstruction of collective knowledge in practical and contextualized learning situations.
