The training of scientific school leaders in pedagogical schools

Abstract

The article addresses the issue of the initial training of students in pedagogical schools in Cuba and their preparation for educational research. Its objective is to expose the essential theoretical bases to stimulate the scientific leadership of the students of the Pedagogical School "René Fraga Moreno" of Matanzas, Cuba, by means of a complementary program directed to such ends from the first year of the three specialties of study of this institution. The theoretical methods of knowledge have been used: historical-logical, analytic-synthetic and inductive-deductive. The theoretical analysis that relates the Educational Scientific Activity and the educational research as a transforming potentiality leading to the continuous improvement of education in Cuba has been obtained as results. A complementary program "Researching from my career" was conceived, which students receive during the four years of studies in a staggered and systemic way. These results are relevant in that they contribute to the quality and relevance of the initial training process and foster the development of educational research and scientific culture among teachers and students.
