Abstract

In the new information age, the internet has become the virtual space where we can find everything or almost an updated way, where traditional media have been overtaken by new scenarios where citizens remain for a longer time. The infrastructures and devices available to the population, the content that circulates through the networks, the new information needs and some native users or digital migrants trained to be able to access and enjoy all content and services, have limited the scope of journalism Traditional and together with these previous elements, one of the most significant is the dissemination of the power that news has in these new scenarios to reach thousands and millions of people in fractions of minutes. Journalism must adjust to these times where digital, interactive and multimedia communication prevail. The digital age has brought about changes in the way and the means of making news, emerging new tools and services available to the public, which they take advantage of to become content generators for the network. In this sense, the article tries to approach the new trends in digital journalism in Social Networks.
