An approach to leadership and motivation in high school executives

Abstract

The present article aims to analyze leadership and motivation in the educational environment of secondary education, by conceiving the manager as a leader and the teachers as followers. The aim is to establish the perceptions of the managers in reference to the leadership that should be exercised in the educational environment of this teaching. The results of the study carried out in the municipality of Jobabo, Las Tunas, revealed that there are higher levels of motivation when leadership is transformational, in which participation, respect and commitment are part of the treatment given in the leader-director relationship.
