Abstract

Virtual communities and social networks, as one of the forms in which they are presented, configure new forms of socialization and social interaction in contexts where, increasingly, individuals appropriate technology to establish social relationships. This article presents a brief approach to virtual communities from the perspective of some postulates of the sociological concept of everyday life, which provides elements to analyze some of the dynamics of these communities, where the symbolization of reality is configured and reconfigured.
