Abstract

This article presents a reflection on female infidelity. The stories that have been found in the psychotherapeutic experience from an initial demand for symptomatic behavior linked to symptoms of anxiety and depression are analyzed from a relational narrative perspective. The empirical findings are organized in different types of constructs and narratives, such as social and personal constructs, narratives of the beginning of the couple, of the relationship with the other and alternative narratives, as well as self-referential questioning and the therapeutic self.
