SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH COMPETENCES AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY. AN IMPERATIVE IN THE AGROPECUARY ENGENEERING FORMATION.

Resumen

El Ingeniero agropecuario tiene gran incidencia en el desarrollo de las fuerzas productivas del país, se considera un actor indispensable para el manejo y cuidado del ambiente, con una alta contribución al logro de la sostenibilidad ambiental, esto hace que en su formación se desarrollen competencias que le permitan develar las problemáticas de la profesión y actuar en consecuencia. Por el desarrollo tecnológico alcanzado, las competencias científico investigativas son una de las de mayores incidencias para lograr la sostenibilidad ambiental. En consecuencia, el cómo formar estas competencias en el ingeniero agropecuario se convierte en una problemática a resolver. El trabajo aborda los elementos esenciales que fundamentan esta problemática y una propuesta para que este ingeniero adquiera las competencias mencionadas con responsabilidad.

ABSTRACT

The agropecuary engineer professional performance has a great influence on the development of the productive forces of the country at a time which is considered essential in the management and care of the environment, with a high contribution to achieve environmental sustainability actor, this means that in skills training that will reveal the problematic exchanged the profession and act accordingly develop. Even in society the high cost of development, insufficient social impact assessment in the process, the emerging environmental culture can be seen in terms of participative management which finds its expression in the insufficient human awareness of environmental problems and the limited use of high human to compensate the negative effects on the environment potential. On the technological development achieved, scientific investigative skills are one of the highest incidence to achieve environmental sustainability. Accordingly how to train these skills in the agropecuary engineer becomes a problem to be solved. The paper supports the essential elements underlying this problem and a proposal for this engineer acquires these competences.
